The Story of AXBALL

How The “Hurricane’s” AXBALL came to be:

I was a professional boxer for many years – trained for the Olympics, sparred with my friend Andre Ward, the former Middle Weight Champion of the World, and was trained by the renowned Andy Nance – so I know that you must work out constantly – but also correctly.  I remember being in the gym swinging a sledgehammer repeatedly til I had blisters on my hands.  I started thinking there has to be a better way to get the same results.  That’s when I invented the AXBALL!

AXBALL simulates hitting the tire with a sledgehammer or chopping wood like in Rocky 4 or what Floyd Mayweather did before his fight with Manny Pacquiao.

I needed to build and strengthen my core and build up my shoulders to throw the best and most powerful punches that I could.  So, in studying my workout with the sledgehammer I wondered, what was more important – the swing or the impact?  I concluded the most important part of the exercise was the swing.  The swing is what tightened up my muscles and the impact is when it all stopped – until the next swing.  What if I just kept swinging I thought – what if the muscles never rested?  What if I one swing led to another, which led to another and so on?  So, I made my first homemade AXBALL.

Does it work – absolutely!  It is the best exercise I’ve ever done and believe me I’ve done them all.  What is amazing is that anyone can exercise with the AXBALL no matter your training level or expertise – you can adjust the intensity of the swing, the length of your workout – I’ve designed workout regimes from the beginner to the professional.

I give you the AXBALL, the first fitness breakthrough for all shapes and sizes, ages, and gender.
